Real Madrid midfielder Jese is poised for a larger role with Los Blancos in 2015-16.

Europe's top five leagues -- in no particular order classified as the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 -- are filled with star players who feature prominently on the world's most popular clubs. However, there is also a group of emerging young players throughout Europe who are looking to reach star status and are likely one breakout season away from making a significant jump in their individual careers.

This jump can thrust a player from a reserve role to the starting lineup within a big club, similar to Arsenal product Francis Coquelin's ascent to a starting role in the heart of the team's midfield. The jump can also be seen in a player significantly increasing his transfer value, as midfielder Kevin De Bruyne did in his breakout 2014-15 season at Wolfsburg.

Here is a look at 10 players primed for breakout seasons across Europe's top five leagues, not including the Premier League (we previously outlined Prem breakouts). Similar to the Prem breakouts, everyone on this list has appeared in fewer than half of their team's games in one of Europe's top five leagues last season. Players are listed alphabetically.
