Missing Special Olympics athlete found over 500 km away

Los Angles: Special Olympics athlete Andi Gusmari was on Monday found over 500 km from where he was last seen near University of Southern California (USC) campus on Saturday.

The 44-year-old was last seen on Saturday. He walked into a Hayward police station on Monday.
Alameda County, where Gusmari was found, is around 300 miles (over 500 km) from here, but how he travelled to the place remains unknown, reports nbclosangeles.com.

"We don't know how he got there," said Jeff Carr, chief operating officer of the 2015 Special Olympics World Games. "That's a question that everyone has," he said.
